The grape of Montalcino and Chianti, the grand old duke himself, transplanted to the Cape and asked, politely, to speak his mind. A varietal study in what happens when Tuscany's noblest citizen takes up residence under African light.

Translucent ruby; morello cherry, sweet tobacco and terracotta warmth. Sinewy, energetic acidity with a long, bittersweet amaro finish.
